About Ayuda
Empowering Filipinos with clear, accessible, and simplified information about government social benefits.
Our Mission
Navigating public assistance can be overwhelming. Ayuda was created to bridge the gap between citizens and social safety nets by organizing complex government guidelines into readable, step-by-step checklists.
Core Values
Radical Transparency
All source code and data sheets are open-source. Anyone can verify, audit, and improve how eligibility is calculated.
Privacy-First
No personal data is sent to external servers. Your responses, bookmark checklists, and documents remain 100% inside your local browser storage.
Designed for Everyone
Optimized for speed, low bandwidth, readability customization (Large Text Mode), and screen readers.
A Citizen Initiative
Ayuda is an independent project created and maintained by Joshua Sarmiento, born out of a personal goal to make government aid easier to navigate for everyday Filipinos. The interface follows the design language of BetterGov.ph, a civic tech community working to modernize how citizens interact with public services. We believe that digital public infrastructure should be open, accessible, and built around real user needs.
Open for Contributions
Help us update correct rates, add local government aids, or improve the UI. Together we can build a better government navigator.
