Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens (SPISC)
A monthly stipend of ₱1,000 (distributed as ₱3,000 quarterly) provided to indigent senior citizens to augment their daily subsistence and medical needs.
Retirement Benefit
A cash benefit paid to an SSS member who can no longer work due to old age, granted either as a lifetime monthly pension or a lump sum amount.
Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES)
A grant-in-aid program that provides financial assistance to qualified Filipino students enrolled in public and private tertiary institutions to help cover educational expenses.
Expanded Solo Parents Benefits

A cash benefit paid to female SSS members who gave birth, suffered a miscarriage, or underwent emergency termination of pregnancy.
Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps)
A human development measure that provides conditional cash grants to the poorest households to improve health, nutrition, and education. For 2026, the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) grant for pregnant women and children under two rose from ₱350 to ₱750 per month, on top of health grants (₱750 per household) and education grants of at least ₱300 per child.
TUPAD (Emergency Employment)
A community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed, and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days up to 90 days in exceptional cases.
Medical Assistance to Indigent Patients (MAIP)
DOH program providing financial support through guarantee letters to cover medical expenses (hospitalization, laboratory tests, drugs, medicines) in government and select private hospitals.
Regular Housing Loan
Provides financing up to ₱6 Million for purchasing residential lots, house and lot packages, condominiums, or construction/renovation of homes, payable up to 30 years.
Retirement Benefit
Ensures active GSIS members receive pensions (either as a lump-sum check + monthly annuity, or immediately as monthly pension) upon retiring from government service.
Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP)
A scholarship grant of up to ₱60,000 per school year for qualified dependents of active OFW members, who intend to enroll in a 4- to 5-year baccalaureate course.
Sickness Benefit
A daily cash allowance paid for the number of days a member is unable to work due to sickness or injury, confined either in a hospital or at home for at least 4 days.
Newborn Care Package
Provides essential health services for newborns including physical examination, eye prophylaxis, vitamin K administration, BCG vaccine, first dose of hepatitis B vaccine, and newborn screening test.
Funeral Benefit
A cash benefit ranging from a fixed ₱12,000 (for 1-35 contributions) up to a variable ₱20,000 to ₱60,000 (for 36+ contributions) granted to whoever paid the funeral expenses of a deceased SSS member.

A cash benefit of ₱30,000 paid to the surviving spouse, children, or whoever paid the funeral expenses of a deceased GSIS member or retiree.
